Passionate about midwifery? Do you want to use all of your midwifery skills? NUH may well be the place for you. Due to exciting developments within the maternity service we are looking for motivated midwives to join our community midwifery team.
You will need to be a Band 6 midwife and confident to work autonomously in the community and within the hospital.
You will be based in the community providing antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal care. We are committed to implementing Better Births across our maternity services and as part of this project we currently have two continuity of carer teams within NUH.
Working for our organisation
A community midwife is expected to cover a range of shifts including weekends, bank holidays and nights.
Various hours are available for this post.
You will be a car driver/owner with a clean driving licence

A midwife who will provide high standards of clinical care throughout the pregnancy continuum. You
will have recent Intrapartum experience in either a labour suite, an AMU or home birth environment.
You will fulfil the role of an active member of the midwifery team and provide evidence of continuing
professional development and clinical experience.
