Inviting applications for the role of Data Engineer
Responsibilities
New Relic application monitoring for performance metrics in real time to detect and diagnose application problems automatically
Monitoring and logging tools like New Relic and Splunk for monitoring network services and host resources
Implemented Infrastructure as code using Jenkins pipeline for teams to manage and eliminate configuration steps for easy maintainability using Groovy scripts
Used Jenkins for Continuous Integration and deployment into Tomcat Application Server.
Splunk configuration that involves different web application, create Saved search and summary search, summary indexes.
CI/CD Automation with Docker file, Jenkins pipeline as code, Docker images, containers to OpenShift environment and application log forwarding to Splunk and New Relic monitoring tool.
Planning features, user stories, backlog grooming with Agile tool Jira
Manage changes to requirements and baseline through a change control process

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors Degree
Solid experience in New relic Monitoring tool on E2E development for business use case.
Knowledge on creating reports like SLO, SLI, Reliability Engineering and Observability using New relic Dashboarding.
Worked Extensively on Oracle database monitoring like checking on DB health,connection and running SQLs to fetch business requirements, Used Custom Webhooks to send Custom Emails for New Relic application Alerts based on Business suggested groups.
Worked on REST API integrations for GET, POST and PUT calls.
Worked on calling Webservices using SOUP UI & REST API for ticket creations.
Hands on experience with container-based deployments using Docker
Environment: Docker, Jenkins, Shell/Bash, Python, Splunk, Dynatrace, GIT, GitHub, , Java, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Jira, Oracle SQL Developer

Preferred qualifications
Knowledge on Java and wrote Shell scripts (Bash), Python and Groovy for automating tasks
Worked extensive on-Call Alerting to corresponding Team using tools Everbridge and PagerDuty.
Worked on Integrations, to send New relic alerts Teams, OUTLOOK, SLACK and PagerDuty
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
