The Springboard program is a 6 months program which provides
Flexible work arrangements to make a smooth transition back into the corporate world
Live and strategic business projects in multiple areas of Development, Automation Testing.
Ramp-up trainings to hone technical skills
Project Guide, Mentor and Buddy to assist you during the project
Opportunity to interview as a full-time employee at the end of the program
Attractive monthly Stipend
Responsibilities
What do I expect from the Springboard program?
Firstly, you will be required to work for a minimum of 20 hours a week, however, you have the flexibility of fixing your work schedule in consultation with your Project Guide. The projects will allow you to work from home; however sometimes, you will be required to be physically present in the premises for project work and to attend meetings and special sessions, if any.
You will be assigned live projects which require skills to perform roles such as Consultants, Automation Testers. You will also receive relevant training that will prepare you for present-day challenges. Finally, you will receive attractive monthly compensation through the duration of the project. After project completion, you will have an opportunity to Interview at Microsoft as a Full-time Employee (FTE) based on your performance during the program.
Qualifications
Eligibility and Role Requirements for Springboard Associate Consultant Role
Springboard is a program specifically designed for women on a career break. While the selection process depends on several parameters, here are a few that should help you understand how you fit in.
Experience Required:
Overall 4+ years of I.T Experience with relevant professional and technical qualifications with a continuous career break of minimum 6 months.
Experience in development for enterprise applications and hands on coding & programming experience across any of Microsoft technologies such as .Net, ASP.Net MVC, WCF, Silverlight/WPF, scripting languages , C#, SQL Server, SQL BI Technologies ( SSIS, SSRS, SSAS), Sharepoint, CRM, Axapta, Biztalk, Bigdata Stack, Hadoop, SelfService BI, Power BI.
Experience in Test Strategy Definition/Planning/Design Concepts. Experience in Automation tools & frame works, Non-Functional testing concepts and tools. Experience in Test Effort Estimation, scheduling and Risk Management. API, Webservice & SDK Testing experience.
Prior experience in MS Azure or Windows 8 Application Development is a big plus.
Having a MCSD/MCSE//MCAD certification is a plus.
Experience/Knowledge of Various SDLC Processes.
Knowledge on Requirement/Design/Code Review & Inspections,
Good communication and collaboration skills.
Good Interpersonal Awareness.
Proven ability to deliver according to schedule and work effectively in ambiguous situations
Ability to learn new technology in short time.

The ideal candidate must have the ability to combine their technical skills, creativity and customer focus in order to deliver great solutions to the customers and ensure they get the best out of our technologies and solutions. Person in this position should be able to focus on the development of customer business agility and business value, and deep experience with technologies.
The Associate Consultant is responsible for providing inputs to the architecture of complex solutions and is expected to lead delivery of engagements. They will assist in identifying and creatively solving complex customer problems, envisioning and enabling critical processes, and fundamentally helping the customer to achieve their objectives.
The Associate Consultant will play a key role in employing, leveraging partners as part of the overall Microsoft services delivery model.
