Job Description : Description
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. C&I Design & Engineering and Site Management
Designing & Preparation of functional design specification for control system, Instruments index, hook up, BOM, PLC configuration, cable schedule, interconnection, loop/logic diagram etc.
Preparation and checking of general specification, design basis and specification for all field instruments (flowmeters, Pressure, level transmitters, Gauges, Switches etc.), valves, analyzers, Preparation of specifications for Bought outs. Project estimation, Design & Engineering estimation, Man-Hour Estimation, Preparation of cost effective technically viable solution.
Field Instrument selection, PLC, HMI designing,
Conduct FAT/integration/SAT, Vendor inspection.
Auto CAD self working experience
Provide technical support at site and see that Instrumentation Vendor/contractor is executing the installation and testing activities as per the drawings, specifications and relevant codes/standards
2. Bidding Management
Preparation of technical offer as per customer tender specifications and requirements, resolve technical issues to offer best solution to customer as per his requirement.
Preparation of Technical bid evaluation.
Project estimation, Design & Engineering estimation, Man-Hour Estimation, Preparation of cost effective technically viable solution.
3. Client -Management Technical
Preparation and checking of Vendor RFQ, Vendor drawing, document, QAP review.
Technical interface with Client, Contractor, Vendor, Government Authorities and Hitachi Technical teams.
4. Vendor Management
Development of C&I vendors , technical coordination with vendor for Projects.
Negotiation with vendors so that the overall cost can be optimized.
Preparation and Checking of vendor RFQ and TBE, Vendor drawing, document, QAP review.
Process compliance
To adhere to company rules, policies and compliance.
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:
1. Minimum qualification & experience –
B.E./B.Tech -Instrumentation /Electronic Instrumentation/ Control & instrumentation/Electronics
2. Other knowledge/skills –
Field Instrumentation, work experience on various PLC/SCADA, Bidding Activities and Vendor Coordinations
