Job Description : Elevation Recruitment Group are pleased to be recruiting on an exclusive basis for a well known, well-established and stable business in Sheffield as they look to strengthen their team by bringing in a commercial-focused Management Accountant to manage cost and commercial aspects of the financials in order to help maximise business profitability.
Reporting to the Head of Finance, the purpose of the role is to provide finance support & analysis to both the Project Management & Commercial teams.
Duties will include: –
To prepare the monthly management accounts analysis for 3 business units
Perform variance to forecast & budget
Perform monthly costings and analysis against forecast
Provide a timely and accurate consolidated budget / forecast
Business Partnering with Project Management and Commercial teams to deliver accurate project estimates
Ensure the accurate forecast of project / job costs
The successful Management Accountant will need to be able to demonstrate the following skills and experiences:
Manufacturing sector experience would be highly advantageous although not essential
Commercially astute
Strong IT skills
Strong finance background
Good reporting and analytical skills
Proven interpersonal skills
