Job Description : The charter of Vistex’ data science team is to add more intelligence the go-to-market functionality that Vistex delivers to our customers. To achieve this, the data science team leverages expertise in data-driven science, software engineering, as well as acumen in business-to-business commerce. This data-driven science includes broad areas of data science, computer science, mathematics, statistics, econometrics, and operations research.

Responsibilities:
Design, prototype, and implement machine learning engines using up-to-date data science technology.
Generate and maintain production level code, including:
Setting up functionality as micro services.
Providing and maintaining standard APIs.
Designing and maintaining a framework for automated test cases.
Designing and maintaining an alert mechanism for monitoring engine performance.
Performing statistical analysis and fine-tuning engines using test results.

Experience
Requiredmin 3 years of practical experience in software development for analytic applicationsstrong programming & development skills, including: languages Python, C++, C#, JAVA, etc.experience with Linux / Unix and Distributed Systemsknowledge in machine learning and statistical modeling techniquesknowledge of relational databases, SQL, data interfacesdatabases related skills, such as SQL, JSON, XML and big/distributed data such as Hadoop, HBase, and Hanapractical knowledge of statistics and econometrics, including design of experiments, forecasting and time-series analysis, logistic regression, and Bayesian techniquesexperience in machine learning techniques, such as classification, ensemble methods, deep learning, reinforcement learning, or natural language processingpractical mathematical programming skills such as linear & integer programming, dynamic programming, and stochastic optimization.

Masters or better in Engineering or related field
