Job Description
Testing experience in Power Electronics, Embedded Hardware and Automotive Electronics
Knowledge in ISO, AIS and IEC test standards
Creating Test plan according to the test standards such as IEC, AIS, FCC, ISO
Knowledge in Environmental and Reliability testing requirements of automotive/EV components.
Hands on experience in Thermal, Electrical & EMI/EMC tests according to the standards
Experience with Test Equipment such as: Power supplies, DAQ, digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, communication analyzers, spectrum analyzer, scalar network analyzer, power meter, electronic loads, Hi-pot tester, etc.
Experience with high voltage testing safety practice
Knowledge in communication protocols such as CAN, I2C, SPI, UART, RS485.
Eager to work in a fast-paced development environment.
Strong verbal and written communications skills.
Responsibilities:
Hardware/Software Functional testing (White and Black-box) of electric vehicle sub systems like, Battery, BMS, DC fast Charger, DC-DC converter, PDU, EMS, etc.
Understanding of DUT PCB schematics/ specs/architecture and test requirements from concerned departments to perform test effectively.
EVT & DVT Test plan/ Setup creation and Execution.
Catching critical issues in the design.
Test data analysis and test report generation.
RCA support at component, integration & system level.
Implement Automation methods to continually improve accuracy and speed of EVT/DVT tests.
Collaborate with R&D engineers in development of test requirements specifications (TRS) with strong emphasis on standardization across multiple product lines.
Ensure compliance to electrical safety procedures and rules are strictly adhered to while performing electrical tests.
Test lab Instruments Inventory management.
Qualification
Diploma/BE/B.Tech in Electrical /Electronics/Instrumentation
