Role Overview
At Techspert.io, we are building the world’s leading AI platform for knowledge exchange. Our goal is to create a system that can identify what people know and how that knowledge relates to other areas. As a DevOps Engineer, you will be working side-by-side with our excellent team of Data engineers and Full-stack Engineers to get our machine learning tools and user platform into production, making sure that the end-to-end process is smooth and effortless, and that our systems are available and in good shape.
Responsibilities
Deploy and maintain cloud infrastructure to support the development effort of the wider tech teams
Configure and maintain tracing, logging, and monitoring tools to support proactive incident response
Working on ways to automate and improve development and release processes
Skills and experience
Experience with cloud computing platforms such as Amazon Web Services or Microsoft Azure
Experience with programming languages such as Python, TypeScript, JavaScript, C#, or Java
Experience as a DevOps Engineer, Cloud Engineer, Software Engineer, or similar role
Experience with Infrastructure as Code toolings such as Serverless Framework, AWS CDK, or Terraform
Experience with Continuous Integration toolings such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or CircleCI
Experience with tracing, logging and monitoring tooling such as ELK, Prometheus, or DataDog
Working knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases
Working knowledge of computer networking, including IP addressing, subnetting, routing, and DNS
Benefits
Based on experience the salary range is £45,000-£65,000

Location
We are based in Cambridge; however, we are happy to support candidates that would have a preference for remote working
**Please note this role can be 100% remote, but the applicant needs to be UK based and legally able to work in the UK we are not currently supporting visa applications **
