Almond Gaming is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer. Based in the central region of Malta within the island’s thriving online gaming sector and working with an agile team of tech professionals.

What you will do:
Able to design, build and deliver automation tools
Setup, build and expose environments for development, testing and at times production
Help support an existing production support team when issues come up, along with route casing issues and helping our development team solve or mitigate these issues
Document and knowledge share solutions to other members of the team
Work independently and/or in pairs to evaluate new solutions
What you need to succeed:
Must have previous work experience in an equivalent or similar role
Experience building automation pipelines for continuous integration/deployment/delivery
Capable of troubleshooting and solving server or application issues
Experience with microservices and how to setup and work with web services
Bachelor’s degree is not essential but is again an added bonus
Excellent communication skills
Strong problem solving skills
Excellent documentation skills
Knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker. Previous experience is not essential but an added bonus
Have worked with one of the cloud providers
An added bonus, but not essential:
Work experience with Kafka/AWS Kinesis, F5/BIG-IP, VMWare, Azure Devops, SQL Server, Application insights, Azure and Redis
Work experience in another gaming company
