What you’ll be doing:
Ever wanted to get given a project and be told to own it, run with it and make it yours? Well, here’s the gig you’ve been waiting for, where you’ll get the chance to do just that across a range of different projects (and teams) that only Velocity can offer.
Collaborate with product and customer journey owners across the Velocity business to identify opportunities for inbound web and app optimisation and personalisation
Using digital analytics, customer research, insight and data, validate and value opportunities based on desirability, feasibility and viability
Build, socialise and maintain the prioritised backlog of test and learn and content optimisation activities
Confirm detailed requirements with stakeholders and design, develop and deliver testing and targeting activities using Adobe Target and Adobe Experience Manager
Define and operate a framework enabling other digital marketing technical specialists to use Adobe Target for personalisation and content optimisation, comprising standards, protocols and guidelines
Continuously advance technical capabilities by developing own technical skills and staying up to date on Adobe product roadmaps and new capabilities
Develop and maintain strong working relationships across internal and external stakeholders
What we are looking for…
Graduate qualification in business, marketing, digital, technology or related disciplines
Proficiency with HTML, CSS and JavaScript Frameworks such as ReactJS
Knowledge and understanding of responsive design principles and how to implement them within coding
User experience design skills
Knowledge and understanding of CSS pre-processors such as Sass, LESS
Experience in Version Control, Git preferrable
Experience in testing methods for web-development – functional testing and unit testing
Knowledge and understanding of building and automation tools and web performance such as image optimisation, minifying CSS and JavaScript
Knowledge and understanding of command line/Graphic user interfaces
Experience using digital analytics tools (Google or Adobe Analytics) and working with customer insight and research teams to understand customer needs and behaviours
It is beneficial to have a…
Post-graduate qualification or industry-relevant certifications in marketing, digital, design or technology
Loyalty marketing experience
Knowledge of airline loyalty/frequent flyer industries
Experience in using marketing technologies such as the Adobe, Salesforce or Oracle Marketing Cloud
In-depth knowledge of Adobe Target and Adobe Analytics
Experience implementing new marketing technologies and channels Exposure to agile, lean and design-led methodologies
Exposure to project management principles and methods
Demonstrated ability to embrace change, adapt positively and take an active role in the change process
