You will have an established career in Project management, with demonstrated capability working on digital projects, preferably with e-commerce background. You will also have experience in managing and delivering large scale, large budget projects.

About the role:
As the Project Manager, your focus is to lead and manage the end to end delivery of complex strategic digital commerce platforms projects. This includes; Managing Projects integration, scope, time, cost, quality, resources, communication, risk and procurement to ensure the projects are delivered on time, within budget costs, and to the satisfaction of the customer’s expectations.
This role is based in Seven Hills within the Finance Department. It works closely with other teams across the business including IT, Commercials, Operations and the wider Kennards group.
Responsibilities;
Lead, plan and manage the end to end delivery of the assigned projects such as as website & mobile app projects
Overall accountability and responsibility for stakeholder management, customer, commercial, contractual and technical issues on the projects.
Ensure the integration of project work scope, schedule, cost objective, time phased resources requirements, and risks into a baseline plan against which accomplishments may be measured.
Direct and motivate the cross functional project teams.
Prepare, and maintain appropriately detailed work breakdown structures and project schedules.
Manage quality within projects by determining quality requirements, implementing quality assurance processes, and using review and evaluation to make quality improvements in current and future projects.
Analyse and forecast performance, and explain the reasons for exceeding or failing to achieve performance thresholds as set in the project plan.
Prepare project communication plans and reporting
Assist with determination and writing of project requirements.
Drafting and issuance of project artefacts (e.g. charters, RFP’s, budgets, schedules, resource plans, risk and issue registers
To be successful, you will have;
Significant project management experience in end-to-end delivery of a range of business and IT projects especially website and digital/ecommerce platforms and have successfully led at least 1 major ecommerce project.
Exposure to working with Digital agencies, geographically spread teams (utilising tools such as slack/jira/devops), Agile methodologies (Scrum/Epics/User Stories) are important.
Expert knowledge of both Agile and traditional project management principles and practices and the ability to blend them together to fit a project and business environment
Strong knowledge and understanding of business needs with the ability to establish and maintain high levels of customer and stakeholder trust and confidence
Feasibility assessments and business case preparation.
Resource planning and management.
Tender process management.
Knowledge of system integration technologies such as APIs, OData and SOAP services.
Business analysis and process engineering skills.
Financial planning and cost control.
PMBOK and agile/scrum certification.
MS Office, MS Teams, MS Project, DevOps, JIRA and SharePoint Online.
