The School:

GEMS FirstPoint School is situated on The Villa community in Dubai. It is a Premium British Curriculum School currently providing an excellent standard of education for over 1700 students from FS1 to Year 13 students, with plans to grow to over 3500 in the coming years. About the Role:

GEMS Firstpoint, The Villa is looking to appoint an outstanding Director of EYFS as a non-class-based member of the schools’ leadership team, working alongside the Head of Mini School for FS & Key Stage 1, in the strategic development of the phase. We are open for applications for academic year 2022-2023.

The successful candidate will need to have a proven track record of having a significant impact in their current post. They must have the drive and intent to secure continuous school improvement through creative and innovative approaches to learning and demonstrate the ability to embrace and promote change. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic and determined to support the school in continuing its planned improvement and growth.

The successful candidate will have the following:

A certified teaching qualification with exceptional subject knowledge
Be a fully qualified teacher with significant leadership experience within a UK curriculum environment.
A proven track record of outstanding teaching and learning

To be considered for this post you must hold a B.Ed. or a Bachelor’s in a relevant subject alongside a PGCE / PGDE or equivalent.
