You must not mind being outdoors in all weathers (for school run purposes)
To work with children you must be able to pass a DBS check and Ofsted suitability check
Minimum 30 hours per week, salary to be reviewed at 6 months
You must be willing to complete a first aid course before commencing this position
You will need to complete pre-screening paperwork and have a chat with New College to discuss any experience, interest in the apprenticeship and how it is delivered
You will need to complete initial assessments in maths and English

On the job training will be delivered by the Employer and Apprenticeship delivery will be with New College and will consist of the following elements:
NCFE CACHE Level 2 Diploma for the Early Years Practitioner (603/3723/0)
Training to develop the occupation standard’s knowledge, skills and behaviours (KSBs).
Training towards mandated qualifications.
Compiling a portfolio of evidence.
Working towards English and maths at level 1 and 2 if required.

End Point Assessment
