Parklands High School is an 11-16 co-educational standalone academy school based in the historic, leafy market town of Chorley. Chorley has excellent transport links and the school is within easy reach of the M6, M61 and M65.
We are seeking an English teacher on a 1 year fixed contract to join our vibrant, dynamic and extremely successful team. Required from September 2022, hours of work are as detailed in the School Teachers Pay and Conditions Document
The position would suit an experienced practitioner with a proven track record and experience of the new GCSEs in English Language and Literature, but we would also welcome applications from ECTs/RQTs. Parklands has a bespoke ECT and RQT programme in place. New staff to Parklands join a vibrant workforce, where there is lots going on, from school musicals and drama productions, to a multitude of sporting activities and social activities organised by staff for staff.
