The Finance System Analyst is responsible for providing operational and technical leadership to the business. Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
In this role you will be:
Responsible for gathering functional requirements and ensuring adoption in ERP and other primary system implementations.
Connecting with region finance leaders on regular basis to understand pain areas, identify improvement opportunities or compliance requirements and represent the region priority at required forums.
Leading projects independently working with different COEs and teams and minimal guidance. Explains information; developing skills to bring stakeholders to consensus.
Using some judgment and has the ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters to address more complicated, day-to-day problems. Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own team to ensure smooth regular operations of the business.
Utilizing in-depth knowledge of a discipline and analytical thinking to execute policy/strategy.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or similar concentration
A minimum of 6 years’ financial work experience, in increasingly more responsible positions.
Experience with ERP based financial systems/applications (Oracle advantage)
Experience with data aggregation and visualization tools (Excel, Alteryx, Power BI, Domo, Celonis, etc)
Desired Characteristics
Excellent communication skills: experience working across multiple levels, functions and regions; ability to clearly communicate financial information.
Strong analytical skills: ability to clearly link financial results to operational performance drivers
Experience leading in a global business and matrix environment;
Clear thinking/problem solving, successfully led projects/process improvements within operations/finance functions; ability to quickly grasp new ideas
Adaptable/Flexible: open to change in response to new information, different or unexpected circumstances, and/or to work in ambiguous situations
Confidence/Assertiveness: strong influencing skills across business functions; confidence to approach business leaders with difficult messages and defend position.
