Job Description : Here at the Maples, we have an exciting opportunity for a Financial Accountant to join us, you will be offering support to the Head of Finance and your team members for all finance related matters. The role requires the individual to lead the production of monthly management accounts, maintain accurate payroll records and continually improve financial awareness through budgeting, forecasting and analysis.The Maples Community is a group of organisations working together to provide specialist rehabilitation, recovery and accommodation services in the southwest. We specialise in providing community based solutions to people with complex unmet needs that are transitioning out of psychiatric hospital, or are at risk of readmission.The key responsibilities for the role will be: – Assisting with the preparation of the monthly management accounts, variance analysis and control accounts- Maintaining the cash flow forecast by ensuring movements are recorded, summary information and analysis are produced- Assisting in the preparation and communication of annual budgets and forecasting- Developing internal reporting of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and business analytics to aid commercial decision making across a wide range of stakeholders- Responsible for the preparation of the monthly payroll- Production and submission of annual payroll returns (P11d’s, P60’s, PSA review)Skills and experience required: · Part qualified (ACCA/CIMA)· Payroll experience· Eligibility to work in the UK· Ability to deliver tasks on time and with a high degree of autonomy and accuracy, whilst maintaining momentum under pressure· Experience using Sage accounting software would be advantageousIf you are able to work under pressure and prioritise work effectively, we want to hear from you!Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 per annum, dependant on experienceHours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 – 17:00Job Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per yearBenefits:Casual dressCompany pensionCycle to work schemeOn-site parkingSick payWork from homeSchedule:8 hour shift
