Responsibilities include translation of UI/UX design wireframes to actual code that will produce visual elements of the application for both desktop and mobile versions.You will work as the UI/UX designer and bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation, taking an active role on both sides and defining how the application looks, feels, and functions.ResponsibilitiesDevelop new user-facing features.Turning UI/UX designs into prototypes, creating excellent interactions from designs, writing reusable content modules, and maintainability of the code.Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability.Optimize application for data security.Excellent knowledge of browser troubleshooting and debugging practices and techniques.A UI/UX designer is expected to deliver finished resources for the developer to incorporate into the app.Collaborate with other team members.SkillsUtilize a variety of markup languages to write web pages and mobile app pagesIn-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development, and deployment)Understanding of layout aesthetics.A proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, Javascript, JQuery, and AngularJS would be a plus.Basic understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASSProficient understanding of client-side scripting and server-side coding to help integrate the site with the backend.Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAXBasic knowledge of image authoring tools, to be able to crop, resize, or perform small adjustments on an image. Familiarity with tools such as Gimp or Photoshop is a plus.Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as GitGood understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that application will adhere to them.A good understanding of PHP frameworks will be a plus and will help in working out with the backend developersQualificationBachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.At least two years of experience in a similar role.Proven verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate technical information to a non-technical audience.Ability to work in an agile environment.Job Types: Full-time, ContractSalary: Up to Rs50,000.00 per month
