The sector provides fantastic opportunities to really show your creative talents across the board.****************************************As a web developer, you are an integral part of our marketing team – responsible for the planning, building, testing, launch and maintenance of our clients’ Websites and applications. Working closely with our Development Lead, you will be supporting the delivery of our development work on-time, on-budget and to a high standard.Whilst you will specialise in the front-end aspect of Website Development, our team are expected to be multi-disciplined and have knowledge of back-end systems and architecture. You will be experienced and proficient with software development and the associated challenges, but there are no specific experience requirements of technologies.A perfectionist, you’re happy to go the extra mile to hit deadlines and to consistently push your own skills and experience as you go. Rather than waiting to be trained and inspired, you take it upon yourself to further your development and learn new things in an ever-evolving discipline. You’ll be part of knowledge-share workshops, allocate time for research and development and have an interest in attending relevant industry events to continually hone your skills, observe trends and adopt best-practice.Responsibilities1. Develop technically sound, secure Websites within the accepted processes and principles of the agency.2. Where necessary, liaise with clients to understand objectives, expectations and provide status updates.3. Promptly raise any concerns against delivery deadlines, budget allocation or technical requirements with the Development Lead.4. Challenge and contribute towards the continual evolution of our processes and standards.Skills1. Excellent knowledge of Front-end Development Languages Vue.JS, NUXT, HTML, SCSS and tailwind.2. A good knowledge of the Sanity.io Content Management System and GROC query language would be an advantage3. Good knowledge of back-end systems and infrastructure for JAMSTACK deployment, Git Version Control and deployment to staging and production environments4. The ability to prioritise workload and deliver projects on time5. Familiarity with Agile approaches to project management6.
