Job Description : We’re looking for a WordPress/Frontend developer based in our Kent office with two or more years of commercial experience and a proven ability to take design prototypes and build outstanding web experiences, as well as maintain and grow our existing sites.If you have a passion for technical excellence and have the communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with our clients, then this could be a great role for you.This is a hybrid role, with two days a week in the Maidstone office working with the wider team, and the rest of the week can be remote.Your responsibilitiesDeveloping innovative, high quality websites and web solutionsPresenting and rationalising your work internally and to our clientsWork both independently and as part of a wider team to deliver on web solutionsWho we’re looking for – the “must-haves”A love of web, creative technologies and digital innovationAt least two years demonstrable on-the-job experience in developing websitesExcellent knowledge of front-end technologies including CSS3, JavaScript, HTML5, and jQueryHighly proficient in WordPress, and ideally WooCommerce, for custom website developmentExperience utilising NPM and task/build tools such as Webpack or GulpExperience utilising MySQL for database management and migrationsExperience with using Github for version control and creating pull requestsExperience with building out sites from Adobe XD, Sketch or Figma filesA dedication to coding excellence and continuous personal developmentAn ability to work across multiple projects simultaneouslyWho we’re looking for – the “nice-to-haves”Worked with a good range of third party APIsExperience in Tailwind CSSExperience with the Bedrock/Sage framework and starter themeWorking knowledge of both Vue and LaravelA good working knowledge of SEO best practisesAn understanding of accessibility standardsExperience with cross browser and device testingExperience with deployment pipelines via GitLab or DeployHQ, for exampleExperience with WordPress’ Advanced Custom Fields pluginExperience using project management tools such as Teamwork, Basecamp or TrelloApplication Deadline: 07/03/2022Expected Start Date: 14/03/2022Job Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: £26,000.00-£32,000.00 per yearAdditional pay:Bonus schemeBenefits:Additional leaveCompany eventsCompany pensionEmployee discountReferral programmeSick payStore discountsWellness programmesWork from homeSchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridayExperience:Front End Developers: 3 years (required)Work remotely:Yes
