Job Description : Transak is a developer integration for a fiat-to-crypto payment gateway. This solves the important problem of allowing mainstream people and businesses to access crypto and blockchain. It does this by integrating local compliance, payment methods, and liquidity from around the world. Transak is backed by top VCs such as ConsenSys.
The developer will be a ‘doer’ who can build highly responsive, beautiful and performant next gen web applications using ReactJS and wide array of front-end technologies
Technologies we use: ReactJS, CSS, Vue.js, Javascript, NodeJS, TypeScript, Python, MongoDB, Redis, AWS
Responsibilities:
Design, write high quality code, debug and test various functions
Architect web components
Contribute to overall product requirements and design
Building reusable code and libraries for future use
Optimization of the application for maximum speed and scalability Implementation of security and data protection
Translation of UI/UX wire-frames to visual elements
Integration of the front-end and back-end aspects of the web application
Implementation of a robust set of services and APIs to power the web application
Collaborate with engineers, operation team, data scientists , product managers and senior leadership to turn our product and technical vision into a tangible roadmap every quarter
Requirements:
Having 2 – 6 years of software development experience
A strong expertise in React JS 2+ years
Proficient knowledge of Javascript, CSS, and HTML5
Hands on experience in one or more of major web frameworks (React, Vue)
Web Performance & Optimizations
Web Securities
Browser APIs (Web Storage, cookies)
Experience in unit testing
Understanding of HTTP protocol & REST APIs.
Responsive web design
Browser incompatibilities
2+ years experience in building high quality web interfaces
Deep understanding of Git
Must be fluent in English
Interest in crypto and blockchain applications
Degree from a premier institute like IIT/NIT/BITS is desirable
Educational Qualifications:
Bachelors/Masters Degree in Computer Science / Software Engineering or equivalent
Nice to have:
Past experience in the financial technology and/or crypto domains
Familiarity with React native
RxJS
Good understanding of Nodejs
Understanding of web securities
Contribution to open-source software
Experience in DeFi
Developing DApps or interacting with blockchains
Love to hack on weekend projects
