Job Description : Graduate Art Teaching Assistant – WembleyDo you have a passion for art? Have you gained experience supporting children and currently seeking a full-time job?In Reach Recruitment is working with a fantastic primary school based near Wembley stadium, which is seeking a talented individual to work as a teaching assistant and support with art projects across the school.If successful, you will work with small groups and 1:1 with children in different year groups. Although there will be an element of art incorporated into the role, you will need to be flexible and happy to help pupils access the rest of the national curriculum.Criteria: · Degree qualified· Background in delivering a variety of art topics· Supported small groups of primary aged children previously (essential)· Experience and knowledge of different needs pupils may have (Autism, dyslexia and SEMH difficulties)· Confident, enthusiastic, and patient individual· Available full-time asap· DBS on the update service or willing to complete asap· Can commit until July with the potential to go permanent thereafter· Potentially looking at going onto teacher training (desirable)The school has a big focus on extra-curriculum activities and they would like someone who can work on a full-time basis (8.30 am-3.45 pm) ongoing to support pupils inside and outside the classroom.
