High Impact Senior Digital Leadership Opportunity- Optus Business
Roles like this are rare! Leading a team of close to 50 people, this is a key senior leadership role that is a member of both the Optus Business Senior Leadership Team as well as the Optus Digital Leadership Team. The Optus Business Digital and Technology Enablement team exist to deliver seamless and frictionless digital experiences for business customers and team members, that result in customer and team member satisfaction, as well as increased sales/revenue and cost reduction through improved efficiency.
Your role has responsibility for working with all the functional leaders in Optus Business to understand the needs and opportunities for the business in the digital space. Brilliant opportunity to bring your deep technical and digital experience to bear to develop a digital transformation roadmap for the business, and drive efficiencies by ensuring that Optus Business requirements are represented and delivered in all enterprise-wide programs.
Critical to this role will be your ability to work closely with product, marketing, customer care and sales teams to bring the Optus Business strategy to life leveraging digital technology and developing best-in-class customer experiences across all digital touchpoints such as the web, applications and third-party products and services.
Key accountabilities include:
Digital strategy development, thought leadership and governance across key functional areas including digital sales and service, demand and customer engagement, web and app, and sales and marketing platform enablement
Leading the Digital and Technology annual operating plan and development for Business in line with the enterprise-wide annual operating plan strategy; and owning the revenue/ operational KPIs to meet the annual operating plan and associated revenue and growth targets
Ownership, expansion, and maintenance of the Optus Business digital channels, assets, capabilities and properties and their integration with the current technologies
Ownership and governance across the digital business commercial strategy; including identifying opportunities and benefits to support business case development
Ownership of relationship with all relevant internal stakeholders and external vendors who provide digital capabilities/ services
Business Tribe lead in the agile@optus COE exhibiting digital thought leadership, championing the business mindset, and the role of digital in achieving the broader strategic goals of the business.
We would love to hear from you if you can demonstrate:
Relevant digital experience in the B2B or B2C Digital environment, specialising in digital build and management skills, content, data and analytics
Strong stakeholder management skills in a complicated matrix environment where relationships are key
Experience managing (directly and indirectly) teams of up to 50 resources with varying skillsets across technical to non-technical skillsets
Budget Management experience
Experience building and launching digital channels which have had a direct commercial impact to a business
Knowledge of the Salesforce Sales, Commerce and Marketing Clouds, and technical skills relating to back end/front end development of digital assets
