Job Description : About the role and our team
Are you an experienced speech and language therapist? Join our team as a Highly Specialist Speech and Language Therapist on the Isle of Man!
You will be a pivotal member of the Adult Speech and Language Therapy (SLT) team, and you’ll be supported by the committed therapies manager to continue to provide excellence in care across acute wards, outpatients and the community.
Some of your key duties will include:
Providing highly specialist assessment, diagnosis and management of patients with dysphagia and communication problems
Designing and developing treatment plans for patients
Mentoring and supporting junior Speech & Language Therapists, assistants and students
Managing the weekly Videofluoroscopy clinic
If you’re a dynamic and enthusiastic therapist who would like to contribute to the Adult SLT service on the island, then this could be the perfect role for you!

A relocation package of up to £7,000 based on receipts is available for this role. Housing Assistance is also available where the Department will pay the difference between your current mortgage/rent bill, and that of your new accommodation on the Isle of Man, up to a maximum of £250 per month.
