Role Overview

We are looking for an HR Intern to perform various administrative tasks and support our HR department’s daily activities. If you’re interested in kickstarting your career in HR and getting a closer look at how our company approaches recruiting and employee engagement and development, we’d like to meet you.

Responsibilities

Recruitment

Executing the entire workflow of recruitment that include obtaining department requirements, creating an overall recruitment plan and transparent tracking mechanism, scheduling interviews, offer rollout.

Employee Onboarding

A detailed onboarding plan delivers a wonderful experience for a new employee. You will be responsible for planning and execution of the same.

You will manage the training program to ensure that the employee can get started on their objectives.

Employee Engagement

You will work cross-functionally to assist with creating and executing on strategies to enhance employee engagement.

Designing and conducting regular engagement activities and events to keep employees engaged.

Preparation and maintenance of a monthly employee engagement calendar.

Coordinating engagement activities with vendors.

Share insights and trends with key stakeholders to drive more effective / efficient HR customer service delivery

Handling various HR Admin tasks- eg: coordinating with new joiners, assisting with vendor management.

Assisting and communicating with HR in record keeping and day to day activities.

Maintaining the company database by keeping new employee contact information and employment details.

Responding to staff inquiries regarding HR policies, employee benefits, and other HR-related matters.

Note

This is a full time internship opportunity and a person should be available for a minimum 6 months duration for internship.
Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or studying toward a degree in Human Resource Management or related field.

Good communication, interpersonal skills, and enthusiasm to handle employee engagement.

Creativity- making posters, flyers and communicating HR initiatives to employees.

Experience as a staff assistant or similar junior HR role is a plus

Experience with MS Office

Basic understanding of various HR functions.

Being in an asynchronous mode of communication asks dedication and commitment from each of the team members. We expect the commitment towards the same from all team members by responding to slack messages in a timely manner and being responsive over emails. Present all information on Slack

without the need for second-guessing and extrapolation from other team members.

Wherever there is a need for synchronous communication with team members, coordinate well in advance and block each other’s calendars to minimize scheduling conflicts.
