Job Description : The HR Portal team manages systems, data and technology enablement for Human Resources.
HR web portal is a collection of websites that employees use to access HR processes, programs and tools. The Web Developer / Analyst plays an important role in ensuring we hit our deliverables of driving a high quality HR web portal and a user friendly experience for HPE employees. This is region role participates in the development and maintenance of the HR web portal tool as well as ownership of one or more strategic websites (content, customer relationships, layout, design, etc.)
Responsibilities:
Develop custom websites for the HR portal within the CMS (Content Management System) and standalone HTML pages.
Partner with business leaders to understand requirements and design, ensuring accurate, engaging and user-friendly web content.
Work effectively in a global, cross-team environment to successfully lead efforts from scoping through implementation.
Web development, maintenance, and management of strategic HPE employee-facing websites
Responsible for governing the quality, accuracy, and usability of all web content deployed for their respective websites.
Development of web templates, components, workflows, and forms in the CMS platform.
Runs web analytic reports, analyses data, identifies problem areas and makes recommendations. Work with users in resolving production issues in a timely manner.
Education and Experience Required:
First-level university degree or equivalent experience.
HTML, CSS, JavaScript. Web development experience (at least 3 years).
Experience in cross-functional areas, such as compensation, benefits, staffing, recruiting, or HRIT preferred.
Knowledge and Skills:
Experience with SOAP and other API design models.
Experience with web analytics and using data to drive solutions.
Some experience with a CMS (Content Management System) structure or platforms such as WordPress, Drupal, Joomla, TeamSite/CCPro (formerly through Autonomy), etc.
Experience with browser developer tools.
Experience with software development cycle.
Experience with multiple system environments (Production, ITG, etc) and understanding of workflows.
Strong problem solving and issue resolution skills.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Proficiency in the English language, both spoken and written.
Ability to work in a multi-national and multi-cultural team.
