More about the role:
Working within Information Security, your primary responsibility will be to improves security awareness, behaviour and culture within Sainsbury’s. You will focus on delivering key messages through a variety of different communication methods and learning styles to our Retail Stores, Store Support Centres and other Business Areas. You will be a strong communicator and influencer who has an interest in cyber security with a passion to learn more.
Develop the roadmap for behavioural change to meet business demand in line with Sainsbury’s strategy in close liaison with Data Governance team to improve engagement and delivers long lasting cultural change.
Lead the Cyber Ambassadors initiative to create a network of enthusiastic and engaged individuals across Sainsbury’s to assist with the local delivery of key messages.
Drive practical cyber security behavioural change campaigns in the UK leveraging global content where possible.
Promote awareness of security issues among management and ensure sound security principles are reflected in Sainsbury’s vision and goals.
Develop and deliver an internal simulated phishing framework to measure susceptibility and educate employees on the threats they face.
Support the communication and marketing of the vision, approach and brand for Sainsbury’s Information Security Team to staff and as appropriate, customers and third parties alike.
Actively grow the Information Security brand and market the brand through various events.
Design, develop and manage a programme of Information Security Awareness activities related to threats, risks and vulnerabilities across the Retail industry.
Hold workshops, training seminars, lunch and learn sessions to provide current education and awareness training.
Maintain relevant stakeholder connections and build relationship with Data Governance Education & Awareness peers.
Support the Information Security Compliance process where exceptions are identified re-educate to ensure adherence to defined Sainsbury’s Group Policy and Standards.
Provide regular reporting on activity for management review.
Travel to different sites as and when required
Support other Information Security related tasks as required.

What we’re looking for:
Expertise in communication key messages to a broad audience using a variety of techniques.
Knowledge of learning assessment techniques, computer-based training and e-learning services.
Knowledge of differing learning styles and modes of leaning.
Good experience of content creation, communication, and dissemination techniques and methods, including ways to inform via written, oral and visual media.
A demonstrable interest in Information Security and the risk, threats and vulnerabilities.
Actively maintaining a desire to adapt to changes in landscape.
Proactively taking responsibility, owns any issues arising and follows through to resolve them (get the required result) and recognises how individual responsibility impacts team delivery and inspires others to do the same.
Works collaboratively with a range of people to support the wider business agenda.
