This role will make specific contributions to Qlik’s machine learning and AutoML capabilities. Qlik’s AutoML offering is a no-code machine learning feature that empowers analytics teams and business users to self-serve on their own AI/ML initiatives.

Overview of role

This position requires a highly technical resource in Qlik Compose and Qlik Sense whose primary responsibilities will be developing world-class instructor-led and self-paced curricula. This candidate must have relevant, practical hands-on experience from the field.

How you will spend your time as our Qlik Compose Curriculum Developer
Responsible for designing the general product curriculum, defining training/learning objectives, and creating innovative and impactful business cases that drive practical learning experiencesPlay an active role in defining, developing, and maintaining technical course material and labsTranslate business requirements and education needs into draft technical training materials for further reviewCreate course materials in various mediums covering instructional design, video creation, and authoring toolsPartner effectively with other curriculum developers, instructional designers, technical trainers, training managers, project managers, and internal stakeholdersUpdate and modify course contents to reflect any changes in the procedures or technology discussed in the courseAct as expert trainer in delivery of technical content (Train-the-Trainer, First Internal Teach, etc.) of courses developedBuild enablement materials and support resources to aid the instructor community in delivering the course effectively

You will be successful if you are

A strong technical resource with a background in Data Integration and Business Intelligence, proficient in Qlik Compose, and familiar with using Qlik Replicate, Qlik Catalog, Qlik Sense or QlikViewKnowledgeable and have hands-on experience with a range of Data Integration and Business Intelligence toolsKnowledgeable of course development tools such as Madcap Flare, Captivate, Camtasia, HTML, PowerPoint, Word, VMware, SkytapExperienced in writing and editing training course materials, white papers, presentations and/or analysis documentsExperienced in recording, editing and producing high-quality educational videosDetail orientated and consistentA self-starter who is eager to learn and keep updated on relevant technology changesAble to multi-task and execute in short and/or compressed timelines
You will thrive if you have

Education in a technology field with a Bachelor’s Degree or higher
Experience with Qlik Compose and Qlik Catalog
Additional experience with Qlik Replicate, Qlik Sense, QlikView, ETL, Microsoft Power BI, Fivetran, Talend, SQL, JavaScript, and HTML5Experience in consulting, implementation, or training role in a high-tech industry with at least one year of experienceStrong communication and relationship building skillsAnalytical and intuitive problem-solving skillsA solid grounding in data storage and transmission technologiesExperience in developing within cloud provider environments, such as AWS and AzureFluency in English, both written and verbalWorked in a global company with diverse cultures

Background theory of a process
Step by step guidance on how to complete a software application activity or task
Should be in English
May contain images
Submissions should be in PDF format
Tutorial video submission:
Duration of at least 5 minutes of audio and video
Should contain screen capture components explaining topics pertinent to the role
Should contain candidate’s audio in English
Videos should be in a MP4 format with a maximum file size of 50MB

Location/Mobility
This role is based at the Qlik office in Vadodara, India. While the majority of the working hours will be spent in this office, the ideal candidate will have flexibility in regard to their hours of work to accommodate the scheduling of meetings in Eastern Standard Time (EST).
