We’re looking for a permanent Integration Support Specialist to join our Innovations team. You’ll have the opportunity to contribute and work with integration developers, in providing solutions for their development – from the ground up (both front and backend).

The role calls for providing exceptional support and maintaining new and existing relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. We practice strict regulations for integrations and need to ensure every line of code that we allow at an integration level passes strict vetting and best practices, there is a big emphasis on quality and communication. We are fully integrated with AWS products and are supported by a skilled dedicated DevOps team. The ability to work closely with our Backend, Dev Ops and UI/UX teams is an especially important aspect of this role – we are strong communicators.

The LEAP Dev Innovations Team works across many languages and platforms, some of which would include React, .Net / Core, Restful Web services, AWS Services and a multitude of databases. At LEAP Dev we seek employees who are enthusiastic, good team members, passionate about what they do and get things done! Due to working with our UK teams there will be some variance of working hours, so this would suit someone who likes variety and not just a set 9 to 5 working week (hours can be arranged with the manager to suit). In a nutshell, you’ll be:
Providing technical support for developers and other stakeholders.
Reviewing new and updated integrations.
Collecting feedback from stakeholders on specific LEAP products and communicating improvements required to the Development team.
Managing changes and required improvements across several RESTful services.
Working with QA personnel for advanced testing requirements.
Sanity testing, approving / rejecting application reviews.
Manage internal and external relationships, both in written and verbal aspects.
Contribute to and create technical documentation.
Working closely with key business decision makers and cross-functional development and testing teams to offer guidance and advice on what solutions will best fit the business needs.
Reviewing and improving integrations team workflows.
The candidate will be required to be a good cultural fit for our team as values and behaviours are important within our teams.
To be successful in this role, you’ll need:
Experience in app support in a busy environment
Experience in working in an Agile environment
Experience in creating technical documentation specifications
Experience in working on tech support tasks
Familiarity with REST services and APIs
Strong verbal and written skills
Strong delivery focus to complete tasks within schedule and quality standards
Strong problem-solving skills, analysis skills and attention to detail
Strong stakeholder management skills
Nice to have skills:
Strong technical support experience or similar
Database experience (MySQL, MSSQL and / or DynamoDB)
Knowledgeable on best practices for both UI and UX development
Knowledge of AWS products
Knowledge of OAuth and Auth0
Experience in using Atlassian products
Experience working with json / yaml specifications
