What’s it like working as a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer at Questrade?
The Quality Assurance Engineer will provide expertise in the area of QA activities for applications developed by the Questrade Technology Group (QTG), with particular focus on web applications, web analytics, web components and APIs. This individual will work closely with a cross functional scrum team consisting of designers, developers, digital marketers and product owners.

Write test plans and test cases throughout the development lifecycle
Ensure test plans thoroughly cover all requirements and use cases for front-end UI and back-end
Plan, schedule and perform manual and automated software tests
Develop automated regression test suites using automated testing tools and technologies
Foster a continuous improvement approach to QA activities
Review tools implementations and encourage best practices and sound design principles while remaining practical and deadline driven
So are YOU our next Senior Quality Assurance Engineer You are if…
BS in computer science or related field
Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience as QA Engineering role
Knowledge of quality assurance techniques, testing concepts, methodologies and tools
Ability to apply quality assurance knowledge to in-depth testing and test plans.
Understanding of automation testing methodologies
Experience in automation testing or coding or backend services is an asset
JavaScript and TypeScript skills
Experience with Jasmine, Protractor and NodeJS
Knowledge of SQL databases and queries
