Job Description : We are seeking a skilled and motivated Band 5 Nurse to work as part of the North Aberdeenshire Specialist Community Learning Disability Team to achieve positive and effective health outcomes for people who have learning disabilities and complex health needs.

The applicant should be a 1st level Registered Learning Disability/ Mental Health nurse ideally with experience of working in both an inpatient and community setting. More importantly however is the ability to evidence knowledge and experience of providing evidence based interventions under the guidance of senior nursing staff. Applicants should have good knowledge and understanding of legislation relevant to this client group and evidence advanced communication skills. Experience of working in a multi-disciplinary team would be advantageous.

The post holder should hold a current full driving licence and have access to a car for work purposes.
