Are you the one we are looking for?
Inviting applications for the role of Lead Associate – Open source DBA
Responsibilities:
Installation, configuration and upgrading of MySQL/PostgreSQL/Mongo server and related products.
Evaluate MySQL/PostgreSQL/Mongo related products.
Establish and maintain sound backup and recovery policies and procedures.
Implement and maintain database security (create and maintain users and roles, assign Privileges).
Must know administration of database including performance tuning, disaster recovery and resolve broad range of database related problems on a daily basis working along with team of DBA’s.
Ready to work on 24*7 support.
Should be an expertise on Replication, high availability and mirroring.
Prepare documentation and specifications.
Should have hands on experience on architecture design.
Handling report requests.
Key Technical Skill:
Languages: SQL/PLSQL, Shell Scripting.
Tools: OEM, MEM, Workbench, pgAdmin, VNC, Net meeting, Net Term, Putty, Remote Desktop Connection
RDBMS: MySQL 5.7/8 , PostgreSQL 9.6/10/11, Mongo 4
Cloud : AWS and Azure Opensource database builds and support
Operating System: Linux, UNIX
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree required. Preferably in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
Preferred qualifications:
Very good written and presentation / verbal communication skills with experience of customer interfacing role. In-depth requirement understanding skills with good analytical and problem solving ability, interpersonal efficiency, and positive attitude
