In this role, you will:
Develop and lead programs, initiatives for data quality, governance, and metadata activities
Design and conduct complex analysis to identify and remediate data quality or integrity issues and to identify and remediate process or control gaps
Analyze, assess, and test data controls and data systems to ensure quality and risk compliance standards are met
Identify data quality metrics and executes data quality audits to benchmark the state of data quality
Adhere to data governance standards and procedures
Develop recommendations for optimal approaches to resolve data quality issues
Develop and implement plans for assessing the quality of new data sources
Lead project teams and mentor less experienced staff members
Drive planning and coordination on low to medium sized remediation efforts, acting as central point of contact
Leverage domain expertise and data, business, or process analysis to inform and support solution design
Consult with clients to assess the current state of data and metadata quality within area of assigned responsibility
Participate in cross-functional groups to develop companywide data governance strategies
Provide input into communication routines with stakeholders, business partners, and experienced leaders
Required Qualifications, US:

Required Qualifications, International:
Working knowledge of Application Life Cycle Management (ALM) and Jira applications.
3+ years of process implementation or process improvement experience
3+ years change management, training, or communications experience
Experience working with technology teams, with a focus on metadata, data quality monitoring, domain management, and master / reference data management
Experience in Data Management concepts including data governance, data domains, data lineage, metadata and/or data quality.
Management consulting experience at a top-tier consulting firm
Process design, process mapping experience
Knowledge of risk and regulatory reporting and processes
Strong critical thinking skills with ability to credibly challenge status quo
Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to lead projects/initiatives with high risk and complexity
Ability to gather data requirements from subject matter experts
Ability to work independently building collaborative workgroups and influence others.
Highly refined and professional verbal and written communications
Desired Qualifications:
Experience presenting status in a manner that informs, and enhances understanding at all levels
Experience building strong relationships with senior leadership
Strong critical thinking skills with ability to credibly challenge status quo
Proficient in Microsoft products (Excel, Visio, Power Point)
Job Expectations:
2+ years in automation of testing scripts
Exposure to Automated Lifecycle Management (ALM) tool and JIRA
Knowledge and understanding of data governance challenges and approaches: metadata, data quality, and data stewardship
Financial services industry experience
SQL experience
GitHub experience
Knowledge and understanding of Agile
