Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
Responsibilities
Functional Requirements definition for Telelmatics network (wireless)
Verification of local regulations for both domestic & international markets during Requirements Definition
Authoring System Design and Software Specifications for Telematics.
Reviewing technical specifications and implement relevant technical standards for Telematics systems and vehicle network communications.
Manage Software Architecture design and solving system level design problems.
Prepare documentation and artifacts for relevant stakeholders on Telematics Network functions
Define deliverables / timing & manage them through to completion
Key Deliverables
Artifacts for Telematics Network Services establishment & Verification
System integration, testing & certification
Experience
3+ years of network engineering experience with wireless/telematics industry
Industry Preferred
Mobile Network industry, Modem Developers, SIM card providers, Automotive OEM & Tier 1 space
Qualifications
BE / B.Tech. / M.E / M.Tech (Electrical, Electronics, Computer Science) domains
General Requirements
Good knowledge of cloud computing technologies and connectivity trends
Good communication & analytical skills
Ability to work independently, take follow-up on project deliverables, go above and beyond the task at hand
Familiarity with Product Security & methods
IP Networking & protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, IPv4, IPv6), firewalls, security (TLS, MTLS, PKI), DNS, DHCP, CG/NAT.
Connected car connectivity protocols such as MQTT, HTTPs
Service provider/Mobile network, 3GPP standards, 4G, 5G.
DCM stack both hardware (NAD,RF) & software(CAN, Eth, MQTT, HTTP, REST)
Understanding of wireless networks & protocols.
Connected car domain knowledge, Telematics.
Cloud computing (AWS/Azure/GCP)
Basic OS (AGL) & OSGI concepts
Technical documentation skills
Functional requriements specifications for Telematics Network Services
Experience with Python/C/C++/Java and/or bash scripting
