Job Description : This role primarily focused on conducting business performance analysis for AWM LFO to assess risk and opportunities, incorporating trend analysis to assess business implications, and analyzing data to support global reporting, planning and forecasting. Creates, maintains and enhances models used in decision support and analyzing segment performance. Partners with the Business to adjust assumptions or offer parameters.
Responsibilities
Create consolidate expense/revenue and allocation reports and variance analysis – focusing on providing business context. Assist in developing commentary around business results. Perform independent analysis using multiple data sources to derive root cause and track benefits of past decisions.
Manage planning and forecasting models and identify risk, opportunities and re-engineering.
Lead the month-end and year-end closing process for the assigned business segment by analyzing and preparing journal entries and accruals.
Ad hoc projects and independently develop/enhance simple to complex models to make future reporting and analysis more efficient.
Required Qualifications
5-7 years of relevant experience
Expertise with Microsoft Office tools, specifically Excel, Access and PowerPoint
Experience applying accounting and financial concepts to interpret and solve business problems
Strong interpersonal and influencing skills; ability to lead up to finance and business leaders as well as across the organization
Assertive, responsible, self directed; able to work with tight deadlines and ambiguity
Preferred Qualifications
Expertise with Hyperion, Essbase, SQL, Power BI
Strong need to lead up and across to business partners and finance personnel
Experience in presenting to senior management
