Job Description : Accedo is looking for a talented and experienced Lead UX Designer to join our APAC UX/UI team based in Delhi .
At Accedo you will be part of a multicultural and multi-disciplined design team delivering feature-rich design and innovative user experiences for smartphones and tablets, Smart TV’s, gaming consoles, VR and other media devices, focusing on video consumption platforms.

We are looking for people who can:
Execute all aspects of User Experience design, including research, analysis, IA, wireframing, prototyping, usability testing, focus groups, workshops & stakeholder sessions
Design for iOS, Android, Smart TV, STB, Windows, Mac, Web, game consoles, and other media devices
Communicate design decisions both internally and with clients, build trust between clients and design team
Be experienced in UX and UI, with capability in other methodologies within HCD/UCD such as service design being highly regarded
Facilitate & drive customer workshops (before, during and after project completion)
Facilitate & drive usability testing sessions both formal and informal (guerrilla, A/B testing, surveys, eye tracking)
Research and develop new user experience/user interface ideas, particularly for video consumption platforms
Provide UX & design recommendations based on analytics, customer feedback and best practices to our clients
Advocate for UX among clients, partners and internal teams (project managers, sales teams) to share our vision and goals
Work closely with other designers to fulfill project requirements & day to day tasks
Primary Responsibilities
The Lead UX Designer acts as a creative resource on a project or projects, with responsibilities that include but are not limited to the following:
Lead a project and be able to execute all aspects of user experience design, including research, analysis, information architecture, wireframe production, pixel perfect visual design, prototyping, usability testing, focus groups, workshops & stakeholder sessions
Set the direction for creative solution with design director ensuring concepts meet client business needs and technical requirements from beginning to end
Build trust with client by articulating and defending conceptual and directional choices of the team, and communicating design decisions both internally and with clients
Support a medium size team of designers based in India as a team lead (5-6 people)
Collaborate closely with the design director and provide in-depth support to design team members through deliverable review and mentorship.
Create commercial opportunities and lead complex project implementations, responsible for project planning, budgeting, project team leadership and delivery
Drive research and conceptualization of new user experience/user interface ideas, particularly for video consumption platforms
Excellent understanding of composition, colour, imagery, typography, and design for web, mobile, tablet, TV, game consoles, and other media devices
Provide UX & design recommendations based on analytics, customer feedback and best practices to our clients
Advocate for UX among clients, partners and internal teams (project managers, sales teams) to share our vision and goals
