Job Description : A Chesterfield based Academy are looking for an enthusiastic subject Teacher of English and Media to cover from Easter through to the summer holidays. This position could then go permanent.

The school is a Chesterfield based, medium sized Academy that provides education for children from years 7 to 11 (ages 11 – 16). The school provides a welcoming and supportive place to both work and learn, with the staff firmly committed to provide the very best education for every child. This is a contract position running through to the summer holidays and possibly beyond.
About the role:
This is a contract position running through from Easter to the summer holidays and probably beyond. You will be teaching English and Media Stuies to schildren across KS3 & $ with Media Studies being a popular GCSE option at the school.
About you:
You will be an experienced Secondary Teacher with strong subject knowledge of English and Media Studies. You will have previously taught children in KS3 and 4 and you will hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). You will have a history of raising attainment in the classroom and a real passion for taking children to the next level with their learning.
