Nutanix is looking for technology pioneers for our Platform Software team to build Software Solutions that will enable us to run Acropolis OS seamlessly across multiple Hardware Platforms.

The ideal candidate will have excellent programming skills and a proven track record of designing and building features/products, in the areas of Management, Diagnostics, Monitoring of Data Center Hardware like Servers, Storage Appliances, Switches, Routers etc.

Key Responsibilities
Work with various Cross functional teams (New Technologies, Acropolis Hypervisor, Core Data path, Infra) under Platform Software team to design integration software for the Nutanix distributed cluster
Understand the whole stack of hardware and software interaction and implement software that governs, monitors, and takes action on anomalies in the system.
Implement reliable software management infrastructure for clusters that scale out to hundreds of hosts.
Work on running the Nutanix stack on any hardware in the market.
Debug customer issues and help resolution in a timely manner
Apply agile methodologies to testing and automation projects
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelors/Masters in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
7-10 years of experience in a product company in a similar role
Deep understanding of x86 server Architectures, Storage, Networking, Operating Systems and Server Virtualization technologies
Solid understanding of Linux OS and distributed systems
Strong Programming & Debugging skills, in any one of C/C++, Python or Go.
Exposure to Micro Services Architectures is a big plus
