Job Description : NVIDIA is leading the way in groundbreaking developments in Artificial Intelligence, High-Performance Computing and Visualization. As a part of the Autonomous vehicles team, we are looking for creative and experienced Multimedia Software Engineers to work at the intersection of today’s most consequential technologies: artificial intelligence, visual computing, and self-driving. Our team is responsible for developing platform solutions for autonomous vehicles involving Computer vision and deep learning. As part of our team, you will also handle product life cycle processes to produce safety certified software.
What you’ll be doing:
Collaborate with software & hardware engineers and arch teams to design, develop, validate and optimize software on NVIDIA’s DRIVE self-driving platform
Directly engage with customers and partners to productize DRIVE platforms
Engage directly with customers/partners to gather requirements, to develop and to optimize their products
What we need to see:
BS or MS in Computer Science, Electronics engineering or equivalent from top institutes
4+ years of experience on embedded systems, with focus on Imaging / Video /Graphics / Vision sub-system
Strong programming knowledge in C, C++ and Python
Good understanding of multimedia frameworks like OpenMax, Gstreamer
Good understanding of Linux, QNX, Android, or Real-time operating systems
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
Knowledge of Camera Sensors, ISP, Deep learning accelerators, Video codecs
Experience with CUDA, TensorRT
Experience working on GPU computing or computer vision
Familiar with one or more system safety methodologies and standards (ASPICE, ISO 26262, IEC 61508, ISO/PAS 21448).
