Job Description
We are looking for talented and enthusiastic Developers in Test to join our highly experienced platform team.
Our Platform:
The Marketplaces Platform helps people find, understand, and apply for the right financial product. Across Loans, Credit Cards, Auto and Mortgages we work with lenders large and small to help match the right person to the right product and lender.
For product discoverability, we collate thousands of updates and product facts to power comparison journeys and for product eligibility we have extensive decisioning capabilities to provide the “pre-approved” mark.
All our features are built on a robust platform of permissions management, data integrity and support capabilities to ease development and provide a consistent experience.
Our Tech:
We’re a proud .NET house with Angular frontends using a rich mix of the tools and feature Azure has to offer. We’re using .netcore in all new services (and a growing number of existing) and are always keen to evaluate new features in Azure to see if we can take advantage of them.
Most of our capabilities are running as Azure Web Apps or Functions and are pushed through our environment using a combination of Azure DevOps for source control, build and release and Octopus Deploy for the backbone of our CI pipeline.
We use a variety of tools and tech to aid the testing automation of our platform and are keen to evolve them if there are better ones for the job. Currently our tool set includes MS Test with Shoudly, load testing with Artillety, and POSTMan / Fiddler.

Qualifications
Your skills:
Strong C# experience
Writing C# tests at all levels of an application
Creating tests against REST APIs
nderstanding of automated testing frameworks
Awareness of Databases (SQL Server/SQL Azure)
Experience working in a Continuous Delivery cycle (Ideally using Azure DevOps to support this)
Working in SOA or microservices architecture
Ability to take a holistic view of a platform and define the test strategy.
Your Qualities:
Ability to establish strong, trust-based relationships
Excellent analytic and problem-solving skills
Ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical people
Good with feedback, continually looking to improve and develop
Willing to push your team to achieve and succeed
