About the Role

Working within the Business Support Team, the Onboarding Administrator will play an instrumental role in the administration and implementation of the onboarding of new employees. In conjunction with the Recruitment, HR and Central Services Departments you will coordinate the new employees onboarding journey including creation of contracts of employment and offer letters, pre-employment checks and company new starter inductions. You will be responsible for the set up and delivery of IT equipment to both office and remote based staff and the offboarding of any leavers.
This is a varied role where flexibility, organisational skills, ability to multitask and accuracy with a keen eye for detail is essential. An ability to use your own initiative and prioritise a full and constantly changing workload within a busy environment should be proven within previous roles.
This is an office-based position at our Stevenage Head Office.

Main Responsibilities & Duties
Planning, scheduling, and carrying out inductions for new starters both face to face and via Teams.
Issuing employment contracts and offer letters.
Support the recruitment and hiring process by performing background checks such as DBS, references and Right to Work.
Maintaining up to date records of personnel-related data for new starters
Preparing and setting up IT equipment and company mobile phones and arrange collection and shipment.
Offboarding leavers, ensuring equipment and accurate notification is communicated to relevant departments.
The MUST have Skills:
Solid administration background with experience of working in a busy office environment
Proven task management skills with the ability to follow processes and work to deadlines
Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint and Word and Outlook)
Excellent data entry skills and attention to detail
Understanding of working with confidential and personal information
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Able to work on own initiative, assess priorities and problem solve with minimal supervision

Salary: £18,000 – £20,000 (DOE)
