Due to the retirement of the current post holder this exciting opportunity has arisen to operationally lead the Adult Continuing Healthcare Service (CHC).
We are looking for a dynamic, motivated and all round ‘can do’ person to join this well established, hard working and incredibly friendly team. A good sense of humor is essential with plenty of opportunity for practice available! Attention to detail will be key as well as analytical skills. A logical approach is paramount when managing situations particularly in relation to our caseload of clients with complex health needs. Your qualification in health or social care will be vital in undertaking this role.
This role includes chairing of panel meetings and supporting the appeal process. There is also the expectation to work with NHS England on their Independent Review Panels with other CCGs in our region. You will be required to deputise for the Service Manager as necessary. Your communication skills will need to be adaptable and effective, particularly when under pressure.
Working 30-37.5 hours a week, you will coach and manage the clinical leads whilst having daily oversight from an operational perspective of the entire CHC department. You will need to have an up-to-date and in-depth working knowledge of the National Framework for Continuing Healthcare (October 2018 revised) and have confidence in its application.
Working for Oxford Health NHS FT, you will participate in the operational manager duty rota for the directorate. This commitment is approximately one day every 8-10 weeks undertaken at a weekend or bank holiday.
We look forward to hearing from you.
