Required Skills:
4+ years of Oracle DBA or equivalent experience on administrating and managing Oracle 11g – 19c Database versions on Linux/AIX/ Solaris/Windows systemsExperience with Oracle 19c upgrades with near zero downtime for multi TB mission critical systems.Experience with migrating critical database environments from one platform to anotherStrong experience with Oracle Standby/Dataguard and Active DataguardStrong knowledge and solid troubleshooting experience in ASM & RAC database servers.Strong experience in PSU/CPU patching process.Strong experience in RMAN, backup and recovery methodologies.Strong experience in Database refreshes/ cloning.Strong experience in OEM – 11g/12c/13cWorking experience on multitenant database maintenances.Working knowledge of Linux/Unix technical scripting and utilitiesExpertise in handling, configuration, and administration of the Oracle databases.Expertise in Oracle DataPump Utility for Logical backup and Database migration.Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsStrong Decision-making skills

Desired Skills:

Role and Responsibilities:
Database Management: Install/Create database, Database Administration, Database Refresh, Database backups/recovery and Database Migration.Engineering and administration of Oracle standalone and RAC database environmentsDaily backup and recovery services and data pump for customer production databases .Create and configure data security realm, configure rule sets, and secure application roles with database vault, and audit the data changes for enterprise databases.Oracle DBA support for company mission-critical OLTP database including production database backup restore/refresh, troubleshooting, run time event investigation.Setup and configuration of Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM)Data guard Configuration, Switchover DR activity support.Experience in implementation of Oracle partitioning, table re-organization and redefinition.Performing Active/Hot/Cold backup Clone from production to staging, move production databases from one server to another.Supporting and documenting the implementation of approved changes to system configurations, software, and infrastructure within the approved testing scheduleImplementing releases/changes to databases via proper Change Management methodologyPerforming database and system tuning using the utilities and reports like AWR, ASH, ADDM, SQLT, SQL Tuning Advisor, SQL tracing and analysis, database event tracing etc.Applying and following Oracle CPU and PSU patching procedures.Responsible for keeping management up to date on any outstanding issues.Support: Provide Technical support, Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the PROD/DEV environments.Unix Scripting: Script writing/Understanding and enhancement in existing scripts.
