EA-NetSuite Technical Consultant

Core Skills: Collaborate with constituents to scope, configure and customize NetSuite instance and tangential integration and web technologies to deliver and improve solutions utilizing NetSuite admin tools, SuiteScript and Scheduled Scripts, Suitelets, RESTlets, and User-and Client- Event scripting.
Your Key Responsibilities
You will focus on the evaluation, design, customization, and optimization of ERP modules for NetSuite implementation projects. You will conceptualize business needs and formulate solutions for both the technical and business point of view.
Primary technical resource to finalize business and technical requirements necessary to design, develop, test, and implement solutions on the NetSuite platform
Advise on how to leverage out-of-the-box NetSuite solutions, as well as when to customize
Work on configuration changes to fields, workflows, roles/permissions, page layouts, custom objects, custom record types, reports, and dashboards
Work with NetSuite support staff to assist users; create comprehensive technical requirements documentation and provide user training
Help coordinate release preview and business process testing for ongoing NetSuite upgrades

Working in project teams through agreed upon phases of project governance, requirements definition, vendor selection, risk analysis, customization, testing, training, and rollout of a client’s project lifecycle.
Leading team members in developing applicable methodologies, tools, approaches, points of view, thought leadership and accelerators to differentiate EY in the Digital and Emerging Technology consulting market
Providing broad technical and functional knowledge of various key technology and business platforms
Teaming with client technology professionals, and third-party strategic alliances
Developing long-term relationships and networks both internally and externally
Interacting and communicating effectively with teammates, clients, stakeholders, and executives
To qualify for the role, you must have
Bachelor’s degree and 3 to 15 or more years of related work experience
Extensive working on Suite Script, Suite Talk, Suite Flow, Suite Builder & system configuration with basic understanding of ERP process flows
Functional understanding of the NetSuite modules and core platform capabilities for Core Finance, Record to Report, Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Demand Planning/ Supply Chain, Warehouse Management and Advanced Finance (Any one of these) is a plus
Experience writing and maintaining web applications, both front- and back-end (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, REST API’s & Web Services)
Experience in developing and integrating NetSuite solution using .Net and Java platforms or middleware tools
Assist with project pursuits and RFPs for NetSuite related projects
Facilitated the creation and testing of future state business processes and script development
Experience in creating documents including process maps, Technical specs, run books or work instruction documents would be a bonus
Must be passionate about coding and a self-starter requiring minimum supervision
Excellent writing and communication skills. A strong command of the English language and the ability to communicate clearly and effectively are critical
Excellent ability to interface with clients and provide solutions that meet businesses’ demands.
Excellent problem-solving, requirement-gathering skills and capable of starting with a problem and working from there to achieve a great solution; a sceptical approach and the willingness to dig for the real problem are valuable
Must be well-rounded and not “just a developer” who takes ownership and responsibility for one’s own work and professional career development
Willingness to learn and apply company’s best practices and coding standards.
Prior experience in another ERP platform would be a bonus
Ability to manage multiple projects
Ideally, you’ll also have
Degree emphasis in Finance, Computer Science, IT, Computer Engineering, MIS, Mathematics desired; Master’s degree in one of these areas preferred
Certifications and prior consulting experience are highly preferred
