This role is an exciting opportunity for Performance Architect with SCB Cognitive Algo Trading (CAT) Platform in Bangalore, India.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Ensure that the new and existing product functionality is reliable, stable and defect free.
Design and execute application performance tests for load testing, stress testing, volume testing and scalability testing.
Understand product architecture, interact with stakeholders, and design effective performance test solutions.
Monitor application logs to review system behaviour.
Analyse CPU Utilization, Memory Usage, Network Usage, and various sources such as Grafana & Zipkin tools.
Generate performance graphs, session reports and other related documentation for validation and analysis.
Participate in the development and reporting of test metrics, items such as test confidence and test coverage reports.
Coordinate with Dev-ops team to setup CI/CD pipeline.
Review product specifications and provide input on application performance requirements.
Troubleshoot QA environments, diagnosing and resolving issues prior to formal testing.
Perform root cause analysis of issues to assist in determining the source of problems.
Participate in regular project review meetings and report status on testing tasks assigned as part of the daily status report.
Work closely with Scrum teams, Business Analysts and Software architects to understand existing and newer developments on the product both from technical and business point of view.
Accept responsibility for testing of tactical and strategic business initiatives for CAT Platform and coordination of the business plans, policies, and processes in support of those initiatives.
Constantly analyse, enhance, and seek to improve testing processes.
Undertake static data analysis for all system components throughout all stages of test execution.
Proactively highlight and propose solutions to mitigate potential bottlenecks from a performance point of view.

To be successful, the candidate will be familiar with FMSD strategy and will work to achieve those business objectives.
Successfully manage themselves during the project lifecycle.
Identify and mitigate risks that would impact the overall projects failure and success.
Effectively engage with multiple stakeholders and vendors on a regular basis.

Our Ideal Candidate
Proven experience in performance testing from strategy to execution.
Experience in test planning, workload design, test environment setup and test data creation.
Profound experience in performance testing tools such as Load Runner & JMeter.
Strong programming skills with hands on experience in Python/Java.
Good understanding of micro service architecture.
Experience with testing web-based and thick-client application.
Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS or Azure.
Ability to work on Linux/Unix based systems.
Proficiency in DevOps toolchains and CI/CD software delivery models.
