Job Description : We are looking for a qualified mobile developer to join our Mobile Product Development team. You will be working with our engineers to develop and maintain high quality mobile applications. You’re passionate about mobile platforms and translating code into user-friendly app. You specialise in iOS, but you are also able to work on Android platform.As a Mobile software engineer, you’ll collaborate with internal teams to develop functional mobile applications, while working in a fast-paced environment. Ultimately, you should be able to design and build the next generation of our mobile applications.SCOPE OF THE ROLE: Responsible for software development for new applications and supporting ongoing applications for iOS and Android platforms.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & CHALLENGES: Support the entire application lifecycle (concept, design, test, release and support)Produce fully functional mobile applications writing clean codeGather specific requirements and suggest solutionsWrite unit and UI tests to identify malfunctionsTroubleshoot and debug to optimize performanceDesign interfaces to improve user experienceLiaise with Product development team to plan new featuresEnsure new and legacy applications meet quality standardsResearch and suggest new mobile products, applications and protocolsStay up-to-date with new technology trendsRequirementsBSc degree in Computer Science or relevant fieldAt least 5 years of hands-on programming in iOS mobile app development OR at least 5 years hands-on programming in C/C++, Java programmingExperienced with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and BitriseExperienced with build flavors and configuration managementExperienced in measuring, managing and clearing technical debtExperience with integration with Web Analytics Tools and Ads ServingExcellent programming and trouble shooting skills is a mustGood facilitation and communication skills (both oral and written)Analytical and multi-tasking capabilitiesDynamic and result-oriented team player with strong initiativeMust stay abreast of new technologies and solutionsExperience with html including HTML5, CSS, javascript, AJAX, JQuery coding, XML, JSON is a plusSound knowledge of SQLLite is a plusMediacorp is committed to creating an inclusive and diverse workplace where talent thrives.
