Mission
Key missions of the position:
Design, Implement & Monitor the new process to boost production
Optimize the existing processes to maintain/improve the efficiency, reduce cost, improve sustainability and maximize profitability.
Facility creation for New projects and generation of process documentation
Responsible for development and maintenance of Automated Test Equipment (ATE)
Special Process Owner -Crimping and Wiring Harness
Responsibilities
Process Engineering
Establishment of new facility equipment’s and validation with process
Establishment of process for new products and process documents like process data sheet (PDS), operation data sheet (ODS), Assembly instructions sheet (AIS) etc.,
Implementation of TOT (Transfer of Technology) projects from our SISCO and gets approval from customer.
Preparation of assembly cell layout and plant layout.
Collaborate with Production team on day to day basis to assess & improve the existing processes.
Drive Production Capacity Enhancement
Develop best practices, routines, and innovative solutions to improve production rates and quality of output
Perform risk assessments
Budgetary Control for Capital Investment for project and existing products.
Preparing of Return on Investment (ROI) for each capital investments to make justification to Management.
Preparation of Make or Buy for new projects and existing products.
Preparation of PFMEA and control plan for new products
As a project core team member (CTM), you will work seamlessly with other CTM’s from various functions assigned to the project under the leadership of your project manager
Manage of Customer FAI of the new project
You will discharge your duties in a very efficient manner such that all the Project milestones are achieved, Contract Margin is respected and the QCD parameters are met, if not exceeded.
You must demonstrate agility such that the Projects are executed in a manner that will ensure repeat orders from the same Customer
M3(ERP) Implementation (MBOM Creation and Standardization 95% Data Accuracy)
Oversee the Automated Test Equipment (ATE) development and maintenance troubleshooting
Support During the Customer FAI / Audit & Auditee during Internal Audits / Process Audit
Support to Bids & Tenders team (Process Engineering Responsible) on the SMH & NRC
Responsible for the Process Change Management based on ECR/ECO and PCR/PCO
Sustain of IMS & IRIS system
Ensure operations follow the safety and quality standards
Automation and Test Benches
Support for development of Test benches using LabVIEW, PLC programming
PLC Programming corrections & improvements on existing Test Benches
Test Bench Troubleshooting & Support for the Exiting Test benches available
Establish/Perform Preventive Maintenance as per Schedule
Plan & Maintain the Critical Spares for the test benches
Ensure Test Bench Availability for Production with target MTBF & MTTR
Calibration of Test Benches
Conceptualize and develop Low cost automation
Deploy IoT systems and Support for Industry 4.0 deployment
Special process Owner of Wiring & Crimping:
The Process owner has the authority to instruct and make decisions independent from production.
The area of responsibility includes:
Requirement review and feasibility confirmation during tender phases.
Design review (when applicable).
Material specification.
Participation to process and product audits.
Participation to Quality Records definition.
Participation to Surveillance Plan & Control Plan definition.
QRQC Step 2 Process, and to the Standardization committee
Participation to equipment and tools definition.
Validation of:
The Wabtec site local guidelines, specifications, procedures and work instructions.
Equipment and tools (including Testing Equipment).
Qualification of the personnel involved in the special process
Qualification of the special process.
Qualification of the special process transfer (PCR Process).
Evaluation (risk assessment) of PCR/ECR involving the special process.
Evaluation (risk assessment) of concessions involving the special process.
Production planning and start up, especially for new products
Process and product audits
Nonconformities and corrective actions
Identification and traceability
Quality records
Knowledge management
The Special Process Owner supports production transfer when special processes are impacted.
The Special Process Owner can support other production sites with his expertise

B.E / M.E with Mechatronics as core subject / Electronics as second choice
Professional Experience
How many years of professional experience in a specific professional area are required for the position?
Minimum 10+ Years of Experience in the Process Engineering, Pnuematics and Electronics Products
