Job Description : About us
Seer believes that technology can have a positive impact on healthcare. We’re on a mission to challenge the status quo of healthcare and push the limits of what’s possible when it comes to patient empowerment. By opening access to home monitoring services at scale, we believe we can relieve bottlenecks in the healthcare system, fast-track treatment, improve productivity, and save millions of lives.
Based in Melbourne, Australia, we’re now closing in on 200 employees across the business, with upwards of 40 developers and engineers in the Software team.
Company focus
Our current focus is on solving the problems and social burden of neurological conditions beginning with epilepsy, which affects approximately 1% of the world’s population.
We’re having a significant positive impact on the lives of epilepsy sufferers. We’re already (by far) the largest provider of gold-standard epilepsy diagnostics in Australia, and we’re growing internationally to help the millions of people with epilepsy and related conditions live more freely.
Through world-first research, Seer is proving that seizures can be predicted and we’re designing apps to help patients who haven’t found surgical or pharmacological treatment to live each day with more confidence.
This presents a huge opportunity to improve how people can live with their epilepsy. It also presents a unique design challenge.
About the Seer Health app team
The Seer Health app team’s mission is to connect with people living with uncontrolled seizures and, by enabling them to better understand their seizures, empower them to live more freely. You can read more about our work here.

We need to design experiences that not only present complex information in a way that can be understood, but more importantly, in a way that leads to better patient outcomes.
