Job Description : JOB TITLE- TRAINING MANAGERABOUT SISTERS LIVING WORKS: Mission: To raise awareness and provide suicide prevention education and resources to the public, with a primary focus on the women of India. We accomplish our mission through in-person and on-line educational workshops, support groups, conferences and programs which promote awareness of suicide and the importance of mental health.Vision: A suicide-free India, where each person is aware of the importance of mental health. Our goals include:· Develop educational content to promote awareness about mental health and suicide, and deliver them through in person and online mediums, such as workshops, conferences, and multimedia outlets.Develop and implement strategies to counter cultural stigma associated with suicidal behavior and mental health diagnosis and treatment, which prevent many from seeking help.Assist family members in understanding that suicide affects not only the suicidal person, but the family too. Help families seek help dealing with their feelings of grief from loss of loved ones and pain from the burden of social stigma.Create a “Women’s Centre”, where women from all walks of life can gather, learn, develop friendships, and provide support to each other to reduce the shame and stigma often associated with mental health treatment.Recruit, organize, train, and educate advocates dedicated to suicide prevention.Educate and assist community and government officials on policies affecting suicide prevention.ABOUT THE ROLE: · Undertake Workshops Prepare, Research and Update PowerPoint presentations related to the mission of the organization. Organize workshops and discussions in English, Marathi, and Hindi.· Provide Training to school counselors and educators to be able to prevent suicide and create awareness about the same using the manual created by the organization.· Lead and manage support groups and to lead support groups.· Manage and Train for First Responder Training program.· To be responsible for providing guidance and supervision for implementing and managing program activities for the organization.· Mobilize and manage trainers/volunteers/interns.· Supervise and manage other team members to take counseling sessions and handle support groups.SKILLS REQUIRED: · Excellent networking skills a MUST.· Excellent and confident public speaker.· Excellent command over English Language.· Ability to Lead and Organize Roles & Responsibilities.· To be able to take counseling sessions for our members and conduct support groups effectively.QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: · Masters in Psychology.· Experience: Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in management, counseling and training with variety of clients handling issues of depression, anxiety, relationship issues etc.COMPETENCIES THAT WE LOOK FOR: · Relationship management.· Eye for detail – Problem solving.· Good writing skill in English for Newsletters.· Ability to impact people.· Ability to meet deadlines.· Ability to work under pressure.· Teamwork and Team management skills.· Ability to communicate in Hindi and MarathiLocation: Mumbai.
