Job Description : JOB OVERVIEW: Salesforce CPQ lead is expected to manage individual CPQ-focused tracks within Business Applications transformation. Lead the effort to design, build and configure applications, acting as the primary point of contact for SFDC and CPQ
SUMMARY OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Gather and analyse business requirements and critical data elements across functional areas
Perform hands-on solution design, solution architectures, architecture roadmaps, prototyping, proof-of-concepts, and development tasks as required in support of current and new projects
Act as a liaison between technical team, Functional team, Business Functions, and System Integrators to drive Salesforce CPQ implementations
Conduct Solution Architecture reviews with project teams prior to design and development activities and ensure solution is scalable, is aligned with internal product roadmaps and meets customers’ business requirements
Guide technical team to deliver a flexible and scalable solution
Work with offshore/onshore teams as required
Participate in pre-sales activities and internal initiatives as required
Be recognized as a functional expert in Salesforce CPQ for Salesforce domain
Become an expert on best practices and how the client implements business systems including creating workflows, reports, and dashboards
EXPERIENCE & TECHNICAL SKILLS
10+ years of total experience with 3-4 years’ experience in the capacity of a Solution Architect /Tech Lead in a consulting organization.
Minimum 4 years of experience as a team member of successful software project implementations related to CPQ, Quote-to-Cash in Salesforce. (ERP experience is a plus).
Experience in integrating to multiple systems from SugarCRM.
Migration experience from SugarCRM to Salesforce is preferable.
Experience in hands on design, prototyping, development, configurations, testing and other implementation activities.
Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills are required.
Must possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Hands on experience in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning components.
Fully understanding of QTC process Be Salesforce CPQ SME in end-to-end functionality definition, design, deployment.
Experience with web, database, object-oriented software technologies, SDLC methodologies and Salesforce.com or Force.com.
CERTIFICATIONS:
Salesforce CPQ and PD1, PD2 certified
Having Salesforce Admin, Platform App Builder certifications is a plus
EDUCATION: Bachelor of Engineering (IT, CE, CS, or EC)
