Job Description : Senior Advisor Data Engineering
We are looking for a savvy Data Engineer to join our growing team of analytics experts at Modernize the Install Base (MIB) organization. Data Engineer is all about breaking new ground to enable businesses to answer their most urgent questions from data architecture. Pioneering massively parallel data-intensive analytic processing, our mission is to develop a whole new approach to generating meaning and value from petabyte-scale data sets and shape brand new methodologies, tools, statistical methods and models. What’s more, we are in collaboration with leading academics, industry experts and highly skilled engineers to equip our customers to generate sophisticated new insights from the biggest of big data.

What you’ll achieve
As a Senior Advisor Data Engineer, you will be responsible for identifying, designing, and implementing internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, etc. You will work with our stakeholders and IT to support business requirements
You will:
Assemble large, complex data sets that meet functional and non-functional business needs.
Using SQL and Big Data technologies, create the infrastructure needed for optimal data extraction, transformation, and loading from a wide range of data sources.
Assist in the development of analytics tools that make use of the data pipeline to provide actionable insights into customer acquisition, operational efficiency, and other key business performance metrics.
Engage with business stakeholders, including on, to help with data-related technical issues and to support their data infrastructure requirements.
Create data tools to assist analytics and data scientist team members in developing and optimizing our product to become an innovative industry leader.

Essential Requirements
Over all 8+ years’ experience in Data Warehousing, & ETL technologies with excellent communication and analytical skills. Teradata, Hadoop, GreenPlum etc.,
Advanced knowledge/experience with relational databases: Microsoft SQL Server (T-SQL, SSIS, SSAS), Oracle, MemSQL etc.
Desirable Requirements
Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or another quantitative field (Master degree is a plus)
Experience in working in Agile (SCRUM) Methodology
